The (Hormonal) Phases of Your Menstrual Cycle: Luteal Phase
The (Hormonal) Phases of Your Menstrual Cycle
Meet the Luteal Phase, that time in our cycle when we experience a drastic change in hormone levels. Learn how to manage your food intake & activities during this phase!
The luteal phase is the time between ovulation and your next period, and could last up to 14 days. It's the last phase of your menstrual cycle.
You may experience PMS (pre-menstural syndrome) during this time! This is because your progesterone level is high as it prepares to thicken your womb lining in preparation to receive a fertilized egg. If you get pregnant, the fertilized egg attaches itself onto this lining, otherwise, it will shed during menstruation.
Additionally, you could also stock up on your organic menstrual products here in NALA.
